living off the grid
Posted in daydreaming, hippie, insomnia, love, lyrics, thoughts on 05/22/2008 01:19 pm by GiuliaUltimamente sto facendo dei pensieri strani, contemplando idee un po’ bizzarre, sognando un po’ troppo ad occhi aperti, abbandonando volontariamente il buon senso, lasciando aperte porte e finestre, dormendo troppo poco e in sostanza non solo sto vivendo “fuori dalla scatola” (“outside the box“) ma proprio su un altro pianeta.
L’idea di vivere in modo eco-sostenibile, eco-compatibile e in generale in modo autosufficiente e più semplice (in inglese, “off the grid“) mi sta conquistando sempre di più (vedasi qui…). Forse ha ragione chi dice che sono regredita allo stadio di teenager, forse dovrei comportarmi in modo consono alla mia età (qualunque cosa voglia dire…), forse la mia è solo un’ennesima forma di escapismo.
Ci sono così tante possibilità là fuori, perché limitarsi? Chi l’ha detto che c’è un modo giusto di fare le cose? E se tutto va male, pazienza, si può sempre ricominciare. E poi, chi è che decide quando le cose vanno bene o male? Ci sono così tante sfumature.
Alla fine, ho solo voglia di essere felice, anche se questo pensiero mi terrorizza.

Di qualsiasi cosa si stia parlando.. nella tua testa… non farti mai dominare dalla paura.
E’ meglio fare una scelta e sbagliare che non farla affatto.
