Today is my last day at work. I’m leaving this company!
Hopefully I’ll spend the next two weeks recharging my batteries, so to say.. sleeping, reading, sunbathing and swimming.
Then, on Aug. 6th, I’ll start fresh.
New company, new city, new job, new colleagues. I’m a bit worried – as ever – but excited. Many things will change… I won’t be driving to work, for starters. Buses and trains will have to do. The commute will be significantly longer, but perhaps it will be a good thing, I mean, I could read books, knit, enjoy the ride… perhaps even sleep a bit and maybe talk to strangers. Yeah!
Some things I’ll miss (in fact, I’m missing already) and some I won’t.
I’m afraid (or thrilled?) that nothing will be the same.
